There would be a lot of times when you’re feeling down, sick, and not in your element. And during those times, it’s just so difficult to get up, to be mentally tough. But, what if I say you, you can be tough! You have the capacity to be tough, it just takes four mental toughness techniques to take you there. 

In this episode, Laura Eiman talks about how physical, mental, and emotional states work together as one. What your body feels, your mind feels too. Mental toughness is all about acknowledging your feelings and developing a solution based mindset.

[18:11] Number Two, start identifying words that might be sabotaging you and turn that into something positive.

[18:59] Number Three, take an action step, everyday.

[20:26] When you are healthy, that’s when you plant your seeds, build your foundation and be mentally strong.

[21:32] When you have the opportunity, empower yourself with small affirmations when you’re feeling low or sick.

[25:17] If you don’t have a foundation, you don’t have a game plan for mental health and taking care of yourself.

[27:26] Your vision board is your gasoline to go through the fours steps and succeed.

[34:57] Doing something mentally tough, like going on a trapeze to keep her sharp.

[37:20] Taking trapeze summer lessons to get out of her comfort zone and practice mental toughness.
